A new study has found that women who gave birth to preterm babies are more than twice as likely to develop high blood pressure within a decade of giving birth. As reported online by DailyMail, the study was led by Dr. Csaey Crump of Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai, New York City.

A public health physician, Dr. Oladapo Asiyanbi says fully vaccinated people are less likely to die of COVID-19 than those who are not fully vaccinated or have had only one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. He, however, noted that vaccinated people only get the full effect of protection after seven to 14 days after vaccination.

The experts explained that the importance of PCOS as a public health issue prompted the decision to make the whole of September a PCOS awareness month.

Maternal and health experts have warned mothers against making babies, especially those less than one year, sleep on their stomachs, noting that such a sleeping position makes the babies more susceptible to suffocation, convulsions and sudden death. According to the experts, sleeping on the stomach is dangerous for the infant, especially when the baby remains in that position for a long time.
